This piece is located on a stump, the one to the farther left. Defeat any [[Bulbear]]s and [[Swooping Snitchbug]]s that may be an annoyance. Defeating the [[Shearwig]]s and [[Yellow Wollywog]]s in the area will also be helpful. Assuming they take the eastern path back to the Dolphin, [[Blue Pikmin]] will carry the part through a shortcut in the water, thus avoiding the three sleeping Bulbears on the way.
