The Healing Cask is a treasure that can only be found in the NTSC version of Pikmin 2. It can be found on a high tree stump in the Awakening Wood. Yellow Pikmin can be used to reach it or any other pikmin can if you go up the half tree branch leading to the Bulblax Kingdom. It is also possible to use none yellows without going in the Bulblax Kingdom direction but this is time consuming since you have to have perfect aim in a certain direction next to the ledge but it was most likely intended to get with yellow pikmin. It is actually a jar of Carmex for cold sores and was apparently worth $1.29.
Alternatively, one can use Purple Pikmin to reach it because of the way they are thrown. Run up the shallow root in the center of the left side of the stump while holding a purple, and release it at the highest point the captain can reach. If done properly, the Pikmin slides up the top of the side of the stump and onto the top, then picks up the treasure.
