The Arachnorb family is the species of enemies in the Pikmin games that look like giant spider-like creatures. The most famous member of the species is the Beady Long Legs, the first member of the family to appear, as the "official" mini-boss in the first game (It even got it's own background music!). The name may be derived from 'daddy long legs'.
