Aside from their water resistance, Blue Pikmin have largely average attack power, durability, mobility, digging speed and throw distance. As such, they are not exceptional for most any activities outside of water, as most enemies that use water-based attacks can easily be defeated without Blue Pikmin. The only real exception to this is the addition of sprinkler hazards in Pikmin 4 which, while on, only Blue Pikmin can safely pass through. Interestingly, Blue Pikmin are more likely to die than other types in Pikmin 2, as noted here. | Aside from their water resistance, Blue Pikmin have largely average attack power, durability, mobility, digging speed and throw distance. It can be worth noting that in both Pikmin games, on the day that they are found, Blue Pikmin have to bring the spoils to thier Onion by themselves, as the Onoin is always found in water. | |||
