Breadbug

The Breadbug is one of the enemies the Pikmin have to face. It is in the Breadbug family, which was named after it. It does no harm to the Pikmin directly, though it can be annoying in its habit of stealing objects vital to the Pikmin. It has a large amount of blubber, making it nearly invincible. The most-used way to kill it is to have Pikmin do tug-of-war with the Breadbug to any Onion. The Onion will get the object, but damage the Breadbug. This method usually has to be done twice. Another, easier way to kill the Breadbug is to drop purple Pikmin on it, where their heavy weight will also hurt the Breadbug.
