The Libra is a ship part belonging to Olimar's ship, the S.S. Dolphin in the first Pikmin game.

This glitch is a dangerous one and can effect the way the game ends. When the yellow Pikmin are carrying the Libra off the high ledge it is positioned on, They could get deflowered and trip, and this could mean some unfortunately falling into the small pool of water. However, when the yellow Pikmin are struggling to get up, the Libra could slip and remain on the top of the wall that is preventing you from falling off. This is very dangerous as trying to get it down could mean serious Pikmin deaths.

In the New Play Control! version, the part may remain on the top of the barrier until a certain amount of Pikmin are thrown onto the part. There is also another glitch when this glitch occurs: When you look at the Libra, a section of it could be leaning off the edge. When a yellow Pikmin moves over to that side which is leaning into the abyss, the yellow may start hovering while doing the carrying animation.

The glitch is very dangerous whatsoever, meaning that sometimes the part may actually fall off into the abyss. If this happens, reset the game immediently, otherwise the game will crash and any other parts recovered on this day will be lost and will reset back to their usual locations. This is also another glitch: The game may get confused and start placing the parts in random areas. For example, the Analog computer and Gravity Jumper may change positions. This is a glitch all caused by the Libra falling off into the abyss. There is a video on youtube about when the Libra slips from the yellow Pikmin carrying it and it lands on the very edge of the bridge.
