What is it?
Pikmin extinction occurs when every single Pikmin, above ground, planted and in the Onion are killed. the day ends if this happens.
In Pikmin 2, the player is given time to save their Pikmin from every threat with the exception of Bulborb Larvae, crushing, explosions, and electricity.
