So, i made a observation that may mean that Emperor Bulblax wasn't really the same one, well, in first place, their vegetation, it seems more of just in leaves and two were seen, quite strange, then, their tongue attack is smaller, while, another thing i got there's another Emperor Bulblax, but its vegetation is more different than normal... Its more like of the original... That may mean those supposed Emperor Bulblax shown in the Pikmin 4 images of its own page aren't it, but a dwarf mimic maybe

No it's not a mimic, it's just that it's the rainy season in Pikmin 4. Presumably since it's an alternate timeline of Pikmin 1. Moss and other plants such as the Blaxcap grow on it's back during the rainy season. Depending on how vegetated it's back is I imagine it changes it's hiding style.

:Oh yeah, forgot to mention this, but are you shrinking the resolution of your files before uploading them? You don't need to do that, and if you are it's creating some really weird artefacting. -Gulliblepikmin 18:21, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
:Pretty sure that's just the piklopedia's bloom filter. -Ninpan
Regarding the Strong-Armed Cannon Beetle...
The Japanese name of the Armored Cannon Larva starts with the word "Yamato", which heavily implies it is native to the Japanese archipelago. Although Olimar's notes on the Horned does say "Though once mistaken for adult Armored Cannon Beetles, this species is actually a naturalized non-native species that migrated here from another continent", the Japanese version doesn't say it's "another" continent, so that's probably just a small inconsistency due to translation and whatnot. In any case, since the black-shelled creature is a continental breed, and the green larva is implied not to be, it's more likely for the Strong-Armed to be the former than the latter. There isn't really any convenient way to know for sure though, since the answer probably lies in some old Japanese guidebook which the Player's Guide notes were probably translated from. (Also, I have to say I'm a bit annoyed by the whole petty mushroom thing. Like the beetle thing wasn't enough. But whatever.) 2 B (talk) 14:16, August 31, 2023 (EDT)
I see. I thought the use of Yamato more just meant native in this context. Considering the Armored has a technical name anyways, I'm unsure which is intended to be which anymore. Ack, Pikmin 4 complicated Pikmin 1 enemies way too much. I'm a Player's Guide apologist and it hurt to see it get so shafted. I guess it'll make sense if we ever see an adult green larva. Feel free to make any edits with all this, I'm not gonna be the one to do it, I'm still gonna headcanon the green larva and Strong Armed Larva. -Ninpan

:Hey, I have a comment regarding your writing on the fiery dweevil. You write "Their eating habits determine their coloring, and without any, all Dweevils appear to be a peachy color", which I guess is a reference to the iceblown dweevil's notes, but I'm pretty sure the "peachy color" mentioned here is supposed to be pink (apparently the word used in the Japanese version of the notes is one that refers to the color of peach flowers, not the fruit itself), as in, when the white dweevil is fed the red dweevil's food, it starts turning pink. The iceblown dweevil's notes kinda imply the white color is the default. (Also, sidenote, at least in the Japanese version, the small dweevils all belong to the same species, with the color and behavior differences developing over the creature's life. In the English version this turned into the "Several points of differentiation with other members of the species have been confirmed, such as body color and behavioral patterns, but none of these suggest major deviations in the creature's genetic structure" in the Hydro Dweevil's notes. Thought that might be interesting.) 2 B (talk) 16:23, September 15, 2023 (EDT)
::Actually the peachy color comment was a reference to the Titan Dweevil, but I'll probably change that in the "final script", I'm planning to upload these to youtube over time. I think it's more interesting for them to be different species, specifically I plan on writing in the Titan Dweevil entry that the small dweevils evolved specifically due to chemical contents of the Titan Dweevil's (their progenitor species imo) weapons. Olimar mentions gene splicing and never elaborates on what he means, so I took it to mean that, which is also why I'm making the technical names references to the TD. --NintendoPanda101 (talk) 19:49, September 15, 2023 (EDT)
