| Louie will appear in the 2023 Pikmin 4 game as the main protagonist. He's got a girlfriend named Frankie, who's obsessed with food like Louie is. While Louie and Frankie are deciding to find somewhere to go on their vacation in outer space, their D.D. Shark spaceship collides with a meteor shower, jolting Louie and Frankie out of their cockpits and causing them as well as their ship to fall and the D.D Shark started to burn as it was crashing down a different Pikmin planet. The D.D. Shark lost all 60 pieces and the crashing accident rendered Louie and Frankie unconscious. When they both regained consciousness, they found this Pikmin planet's atmosphere to have poisonous oxygen to where Louie and the one that wants to be the prettiest girl on Hocotate none other than Frankie can spend 60 days on the planet. With the help of the Pikmin, they get all 60 parts of the D.D. Shark back so they can return home just like how Olimar needed all 30 parts of his S.S. Dolphin back. Failure to get 50 parts will result in the bad ending of Louie and Frankie knowing that time is up. They will both suffer poisoning from the oxygen and they'll try to fly off, but the D.D. Shark's engine explodes and the D.D. Shark comes crashing back down again, killing them. The Pikmin will bring Louie and Frankie's dead bodies to an onion and they two are ejected as seeds. The Pikmin form a line behind those seeds and start to cheer before giggling at the Louie and Frankie seeds. Their sprouts are white and their bodies can't be seen.
