Max. carriers 60 Pikmin
Location The Forest Navel

The Anti-Dioxin Filter is a ship part in Pikmin. It fits on a rocket's exhaust port and filters disease-carrying agents from the ship's exhaust. It doesn't pollute a planet's atmosphere, making Captain Olimar feel better. After being collected, this ship part wraps around the S.S. Dolphin's hull, and the square hole in the center goes around the main hatch. The rim that encircles the hull goes around just underneath the cockpit and Gluon Drive, meaning that this part is found upside-down in relation to its appearance on the ship.

Collecting the Part

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

It is in the large lake area of The Forest Navel. Withdraw at least 40 Blue Pikmin and a group of Red Pikmin. Travel to the lake area, where Olimar needs to defeat all the Wollywogs to ensure the Blue Pikmin's safety. Then, either keep the Red Pikmin waiting for your Blue Pikmin to get the part out of water or defeat all of the Fiery Blowhogs so the Blues can just carry the part back to the landing site.

This part can still be collected if the player has at least 4 Blue Pikmin with them. By having Captain Olimar lie down behind the Anti-Dioxin Filter, the Pikmin that carry him will push the part as they go, eventually dragging it out of the water, where other Pikmin can take it back.[1]

Notes

Olimar's monologs

It's the Anti-Dioxin Filter!

This fits over the rocket's exhaust port and filters out all disease-causing agents from the ship's exhaust. That means I'll be able to move around without polluting the planet's atmosphere! I feel worlds better!

The laws of deep space require all ships to eliminate all pollutants.

Trivia

  • In real life, dioxins are a group of polyhalogenated compounds which act as environmental pollutants. This part is the equivalent to the catalytic converter of an automobile.
  • In the Final Analysis menu where all 30 ship parts are listed, the Anti-Dioxin Filter is labeled simply as "Non-Dioxin".
