Drenchnozzle Den (みずの ふきでる どうくつ?, lit.: "Water-spouting cave") is the secret area in the Ravaged Rustworks. This cave has several jets of water that can be stood on, and when Captain Olimar or a Pikmin enters them from the side, they get sent to the top. These jets go up and down in intervals, which allows access to different levels.

DescriptionEdit

The area, that takes place in a cavern, is mainly made of jets of water, which are mandatory to progress in the level. The player begins the area on a jet of water. Olimar has to wait for it to go down in order to get some Blue Pikmin, and to be able to destory the dirt block that blocks the path. After some time, the player has to use his jetpack from the top of a jet of water in order to get the Inspiration Signal. After some walking in the level, Olimar can retrieve the Quid Pro Quo-Yo, by using his jetpack after climbing up some vines. Some time after this, the player can find the Missed Connection, surrounded by jets of water and Mockiwis.

CutscenesEdit

Cutscene Screenshot Trigger Description
Scouting Pikmin   The player enters the second doorway. Two Blue Pikmin exit the doorway, and carefully look around. After doing so for a bit, they face each other and nod to one another. After having confirmed that there are no dangers, they go back in, and the entire group of Pikmin plus Olimar come out.
Suspended doorway   After the room with Sparrowheads, the player goes left and enters the doorway. Four Pikmin come out of the doorway one by one. This doorway is on the wall, so as soon as the first Pikmin steps out, it realizes the floor under it is missing, and manages to grab on to the ledge of the doorway as it falls. The other three Pikmin also come out and grab on to the ledge as they fall. Eventually, the first Pikmin lets go and falls to the nearby floor, back-first, and the other three end up doing the same. They get up, and stare at the doorway, waiting for the rest of the crew.
Olimar stuck   After the room with Red Bubblimps, the player goes left and enters the doorway. Olimar and four Blue Pikmin are inside a tunnel, and midway through, there is a tight opening in the wall. Two of the Pikmin go first, stand in front of the opening, and dive right into it, coming out from the other side with a roll and finishing with a gymnast salutation. Olimar tries next, but gets stuck. The four Pikmin rush in to help him, with the two that made it trying to pull him out, and the other two trying to push. Eventually, he pops out, and all five end up on the ground. They then get up, and continue with the journey.
