Suggestions: What about the Japanese/European version? Is it another treasure? If so, link to it, but specify whether it's just the appearance of another treasure, or also the location.

The Endless Repository (尽きぬコンテナ?, lit.: "Inexhaustible Container") is a treasure found in Pikmin 2, but a different object depending on the region. It is actually a tin of Beach Cliff sardines in the US version (the European name for this object is Perfect Container) and a baby clam container in Japan and Europe.

On the US version, it is found in the fifth sublevel of the Shower Room, probably on a ledge or an alcove. Two types of Blowhogs as well as Dwarf Orange Bulborbs will get in the way as the Pikmin are carrying it.

If this item is located inside the water vent, it's very likely that it will get stuck while the Pikmin are carrying it. If it does, it is very difficult to get it out; it may takes a lot of repositioning of the Blue Pikmin carrying it. If it takes too long to free, it's best to just reset the console and hope that the treasure is located elsewhere on the next run.

On the surface of the tin, it reads:

Beach Cliff

SARDINES

IN SOYBEAN OIL

INGREDIENTS: SARDINES, SOYBEAN OIL, SALT.

FOR NUTRITION INFORMATION, WRITE: STINSON SEAFOOD (2001) INC. SO, PORTLAND, ME @4106 U.S.A

NET WT. 3.75 OZ (106g) www.beachcliff.info

On the bottom left and bottom right, respectively, it reads:

LIFT RING • PULL BACK

5170

On the European and Japanese versions, this treasure can be found inside one of the Orange Bulborbs in sublevel 12 of the Dream Den.

Notes

Olimar's journal

Everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes desire overpowers reason. At least, that's what I told myself when I sampled this salty snack.

Sales pitch

No matter how much you eat, this magic container is never empty. So, go ahead and have a bite! (Captain Olimar and his crony used this excuse. They later issued a written apology.)
