The Face Wrinkler (トキメキノミ^?, lit.: "Fruit of Heartthrob") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a lemon, and is worth  × 70 in Mission Mode. It fills one and a half bottles of juice (three quarters in Ultra-Spicy mode), and is a common fruit, seen multiple times throughout Pikmin 3's Story Mode. In Pikmin 4, it's worth and can be found three times in Story Mode.

Garden of Hope

The Face Wrinkler in the Garden of Hope is found as part of the game's tutorial, where the player is taught how to throw and switch between leaders. Simply throw Brittany and 5 Pikmin up onto the higher ledge so they can reach the fruit.

Tropical Wilds

The Face Wrinkler in the Tropical Wilds is found buried in the sand near the Shaggy Long Legs' arena and the body of water with some Wogpoles. Simply have some Pikmin dig it up, or use bomb rocks to instantly unearth it. A pair of Skutterchucks and a Whiptongue Bulborb are present along the route back to the Drake; it is advised they are defeated before the Face Wrinkler is collected.

Distant Tundra

The Face Wrinkler in the Distant Tundra is found on a small ledge behind a large stump with a Dapper Blob on top. It can be harvested with Blue Pikmin, which will carry it through the water, but this will require you to remove a nearby dirt wall first, and later clearing the nearby pond of all enemies. If you don't, the Blue Pikmin will take a longer route back involving some Joustmites. Alternatively, it can be carried with Winged Pikmin by charging them onto it, who will then carry it directly to the Drake.

Collecting the treasure

Serene Shores

There is a Face Wrinkler inside of a Peckish Aristocrab at the central west section of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Peckish Aristocrab and the nearby Aristocrab Offspring, then throw 7 Pikmin at it. The nearby water spouts should also be cleared if you're not using Blue Pikmin. It is most easily accessible at low tide.

Doppelgänger's Den

There is a Face Wrinkler sitting on a ledge on the northeast of sublevel 1 of the Doppelgänger's Den. To collect this treasure, you must throw 7 Blue Pikmin at it, or use 15 Ice Pikmin to freeze the nearby body of water and throw 7 Pikmin at it. It can also be knocked down with a rush from Oatchi.

Giant's Hearth

There is a Face Wrinkler atop a ledge west of the center of the overworld, right next to the Line of Logs base. To collect this treasure, you must throw 7 Pikmin at it.
