The following article or section is in need of assistance from someone who plays Hey! Pikmin.
Particularly:

  • Add an image of the treasure in the infobox.
  • Describe the treasure. Don't forget to mention what real-world object this is, if any.

The Independence Monument (ひとりだちモニュメント?, lit.: "Independence Monument") is a treasure in Hey! Pikmin, that can be found in the Back-and-Forth Road area. It could possibly be the leg of a toy robot.

Collecting the treasureEdit

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Near the end of the area, the player can destroy a dirt block, which will reveal a doorway. To access it, Olimar must use his Pikmin to push an iron block. On the other side of the doorway, the player will face a huge iron block, which requires at least 12 Pikmin in order to be pushed. After clearing the way, Olimar will get access to another doorway, that leads him to the treasure.

Notes

Hey! Pikmin logs

This reminds me of my son telling me that he wants to be an explorer of the cosmos, just like me. It's touching that he looks up to me but awkward, too. I'm meant to be a pilot, not an explorer!
