The Lip Service is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is actually a tube of lipstick. It is found in sublevel 2 of the Citadel of Spiders, in the US and European versions. (The Japanese version has the Family Raft in the same place.) Fiery Dweevils and Yellow Wollywogs may intercept the Pikmin carrying this treasure, so to collect the treasure safely, those enemies should be defeated first.
The expression "lip service" is used when someone says something others want to hear, regardless of its factual value.
