DLC[edit]

Just wanted to make sure that it was OK for me to add the DLC fighters to this page. The rules say that info may be added as long as it doesn't change the core of the article. - Super Eli

Probably not, considering this is more of an archived article than something we need to add onto it. Seems rather pointless. - Bossclips
It's tricky. The idea of that limitation is so that users don't go around changing the joke that was initially made. But in cases like the Bolbert page, if users can find other hilarious images of Bulborbs, it makes sense to include them. Now, it doesn't feel right to add new entries to this page after the fact, but it also doesn't feel right to miss out on DLC characters just because... Tell you what: you should probably post them in this talk page, and if others agree (particularly the rest of the crew involved with the original joke), they can then be added. — {EspyoT} 14:05, November 17, 2020 (EST)
Guess I'll move them here myself then... — {EspyoT} 15:37, November 18, 2020 (EST)
Oh, sorry! I haven't been checking this page. Thanks for moving that! By the way, who exactly were the original creators of the joke? — {Super EliT} 9:42, November 19, 2020 (EST)
It was mostly User:TheSneakySpy, though everyone from the staff team chimed in with ideas. So far there haven't been many opinions, but they strike us as a bit misguided – it sounds less like Olimar's writing notes on weird new creatures, and more like he's just making comments on fighters in a parody fighting game... — {EspyoT} 11:25, November 20, 2020 (EST)
^ Kinda agree. Not bad by any means, just not written for the same purpose or by the same people. More so like the Hey! Pikmin logs than the Piklopedia. The Hero and Steve ones especially feel out of character. I think Byleth's was fine, that one felt more in tune with the other ones. Entries[edit]

Hero[edit]

Today, I encountered a most devilish foe. This opponent fights with fire, electricity, and even wind! I have suspicions that he is somehow draining Pikmin life force to give his sword these strange elemental powers. No matter. My Pikmin and I will avenge our fallen comrades! ... ...c-can he drain my life force too?

Banjo-Kazooie[edit]

I'm quite confused, to say the least. I was informed that I would be battling one fighter, and yet I see two here! The bear has some sort of backpack in which he stores some sort of Burrowing Snagret capable of shooting eggs from its mouth. I must be careful not to get hit by the eggs, for they could contain nectar to flower my Pikmin. I will be very displeased if I see Louie's made deviled eggs tomorrow morning...

Terry[edit]

I must be very careful with this one. He appears to have mastered various different fighting techniques, as well as the power of fire. I'll be wary when attacking this one - except for when I'm using Red Pikmin, of course. The martial arts mastered by this blonde battler appear to be similar to those I practiced many years ago. That's how I met my wife, in fact; I was practicing in the gym when she happened to walk by the window. She claimed to have found them "very attractive" at the time.

Byleth[edit]

This foe is quite odd - they have not only a bow, but also a lance, an axe, and a sword that appears to also function as a whip. I am thoroughly confused as to how that last one works, but I digress. Somewhat oddly, there appears to be both a man and a woman; they both go by the name of Byleth and they both have identical movesets, so this is the only logical conclusion. Those weapons, though... how much would they go for in auction back on Hocotate?

Min Min[edit]

As is seemingly the case with all of the fighters I've met recently, this woman is quite abnormal. At first glance, her arms appear to be normal, but they extend out so far - even longer than the nose of a Yellow Pikmin (when proportionally sized, that is). Said arms also happen to look like noodles... ...I better keep Louie away from this one.

Steve[edit]

What an odd person, this one. They love everything to do with making things; they have a table for making things, they mine materials and make them into blocks that can then be made into structures, and they even makewi various weapons and tools, made of either wood, stone, iron, gold, or even diamonds! Quite odd behavior, I must say- wait. Gold? Diamonds? GOLD AND DIAMONDS?!?!?! MY FELLOW PIKMIN, WE MUST DEFEAT THIS ONE! CHAAAARGE!!!
