Since this subject has no official name, the name "Pink Candypop Bud" is conjectural.

"Pink" Candypop Buds are Candypop Buds found only in Pikmin 3. Their behavior is equal to that of other Candypop Buds, but when non-Winged Pikmin are thrown in, they will change into Winged Pikmin. Five Pikmin can be thrown in before the Candypop Bud withers away. If Winged Pikmin are thrown in, they will be reverted to leaf stages, and the number of Pikmin that can be thrown in will not decrease. This type of Candypop Bud is quite rare in Pikmin 3, appearing only twice in the Formidable Oak during the main story. It is slightly more common in Mission Mode, appearing in two maps there.

The lock-on display refers to this and all Candypop Buds as simply "Candypop Bud", meaning this flower has no official name. Pikmin 3 Deluxe also does not catalog it or any Candypop flower in its Piklopedia.
