Strategy

The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Shooting Spiners can be defeated with a single Pikmin throw. As the males do not stick their legs out, they are considerably easier to kill than the females.

Notes

Hey! Pikmin logs

Usually it's content to dangle from the ceiling, but if you approach, it will fire poison clouds at you. This one looks much more drab that his female counterpart. I can relate.

Naming

See more: Wracknid_family#Naming.

Spiner is in reference to how it spins webs. Shooting references the toxic clouds they shoot at the Pikmin.

The species name mittetsia may be an illusion to "mitten", comparing their fuzzy appearance to that of a mitten.
