The Space Float is a ship part found in Pikmin. It allows someone to stay adrift in space if their ship is shot out from under them. This part can be found in The Forest Navel, inside a Breadbug. After being collected, this ship part does not change the S.S. Dolphin's appearance.

The flotation device is found in the stomach of a Breadbug. To get it, Olimar has to grab an item such as a pellet or Shearwig carcass, then grab the item with as many Pikmin necessary to carry it to the Onion. This will reduce it to very little health. Olimar can also throw Pikmin directly on top of the Breadbug for little damage. The most effective way of taking care of it involves throwing one Pikmin directly on top, and then letting it be dragged to the Onion.
