Space of Silence (せいじゃくの どうくつ?, lit.: "Silence cave") is the fourth main area in the Ravaged Rustworks. It is a dark cave with electric glowcaps and Electric Spectralids, and is the only area they appear in. It is quite a wide and large area, allowing lots of space for Electric Spectralids to roam. Because only Yellow Pikmin are found in this area, the many electrical hazards found here are only dangerous to Captain Olimar.

DescriptionEdit

The area takes place in a big cavern, which is full of electrical obstacles and enemies. At the start of the area, the player has to throw a Yellow Pikmin to deactivate an electric glowcap in order to continue. Not so long after this, Olimar can go through a doorway. On the other side, there is a Crested Mockiwi, holding the Champion Belt. After a long walk through corridors full of Electric Spectralids and electric glowcaps, the player can enter another doorway. On the other side, Olimar can find some Yellow Pikmin, as well as Bloominous Stemples. The player has to throw their Yellow Pikmin at some things that look like electrical outlets, in order to generate light and make the Bloominous Stemples bloom. After that, Olimar can retrieve the Silence Breaker. Just after that, the player will encounter a Mockiwi and the Sonic Relaxant above it. Then, Olimar can reach the end of the area.

CutscenesEdit

Cutscene Screenshot Trigger Description
Sleepy Pikmin   After the start, the player advances a bit forward. The camera focuses on a pile of dry leafs, with some "Z" coming from one end. Three Yellow Pikmin pop out from behind the pile. Eventually, a fourth one walks around the pile, with its head held low and its eyes closed. Concerned, the other Pikmin approach it, and one of them taps it on the shoulder, causing it to wake up. It yawns, stretches, and races off, with the others following behind.
Gashapon slide   The player enters the first doorway (not counting the one leading to the Champion Belt's room), and moves a bit forward. Four Yellow Pikmin are idling next to the opaque half of a gashapon capsule. One jumps in and begins sliding left and right. The other three decide to hop in too, one at a time. They all slide together from left to right, and with each swing tilting the capsule further, until it eventually capsizes and traps the Pikmin inside.
Sparklium Seed and Mockiwi   After the doorway that leads to the Silence Breaker, the player advances a bit forward. Two Pikmin in Olimar's group notice a Sparklium Seed up ahead, and decide to jump at it together. They miss, and just end up knocking the seed away. The seed ends up near the backside of a Mockiwi. One of the Pikmin catches it, but wonders what the large object next to them is. At this point, the Mockiwi turns around and stares at the Pikmin. It squawks, which scares the Pikmin away, and causes the one carrying the seed to throw it in the air, where it ends up landing on the Mockiwi's head.
