Tropical Wilds Remix is a map used exclusively for the Battle Enemies! mode in Pikmin 3's Mission Mode. It was released in the second downloadable content pack. As the name suggests, the map is essentially just the main area of the Tropical Wilds, with more enemies and different obstacles.

Suggestions:

  • Add an Overview and Key sections sections, like on the area article policy.
  • Add guides.
  • List what maturity each Pikmin starts at on the infobox.

Terrain

The player starts off with Alph nearby the Master Onion and the SPERO nearby. Also nearby are a few Dwarf Orange Bulborbs and some Pellet Posies. To the south is the meandering path with a Pyroclasmic Slooch, but it is blocked off by a Reinforced wall. Past the wall is a Burgeoning Spiderwort, used to create ultra-spicy spray. Past the Pyroclasmic Slooch is also where the Swarming Sheargrubs start, though it is likely that their location will change frequently. Towards the end of the meandering path is a group of nectar eggs and a dirt mound with 3 bomb rocks.

Further south is the long path that goes under the waterfall. In the lake the waterfall empties into, there is a lone Yellow Wollywog. By following the path, the player will eventually find a plethora of blue Pellet Posies and a Dwarf Orange Bulborb, eventually leading up to the Blue Onion, the starting point of Brittany and Charlie. Across the water to the Blue Onion is a lone Swarming Sheargrub on an island. Nearby is an incomplete bridge. On the other side are 2 more Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, and 2 piles of Fragments to finish the bridge. Also nearby is a blue Pellet Posy and a Bouncy Mushroom that will lead back up to the Blue Onion.

The path leading to the other area is now blocked off with an cinderblock, so the player must venture through the water to go around it. In the water is yet another Yellow Wollywog and another nectar egg. On land, the player is greeted by a Burrowing Snagret. In the arena is a lone part to a Seesaw Block. To the right of the Burrowing Snagret is a room closed off by a dirt wall. The room is the normal landing site, and now houses a Peckish Aristocrab. To the north is a low cinderblock, with a Bouncy Mushroom beyond it, making Pikmin able to be thrown to the second half of the area.

When thrown across, another Pellet Posy and a Swooping Snitchbug are immediately seen. A dirt mound is also present, and holds 3 more bomb rocks to use. A Burgeoning Spiderwort and an Orange Bulborb mark a fork in the road. To the right is the Baldy Long Legs' arena. A pile of Hay is also present, necessary to go to the other arena, which houses yet another Baldy Long Legs. On the left path, a small ledge with 3 more bomb rocks is present. Further north is a Pyroclasmic Slooch and another Orange Bulborb. To the east is the other Seesaw Block. This Seesaw Block provides access to the upper plateau, which, at the top, holds 15 more planted Blue Pikmin. However, these Pikmin are so out of the way that it is hardly worth getting them.

At the beach area, there are 2 Yellow Wollywogs, a Pyroclasmic Slooch (which will often go into the water and lose its fiery trait), and an Orange Bulborb. On the small island to the north is an Armored Cannon Larva. The Cannon Larva can be used to easily take out the creatures without the need of any bomb rocks. By going south, the player will be back at the SPERO.
