About the Fiery BulblaxEdit

I have a question: Why did you upload an image of a Fiery Bulblax as seen from a model viewer (BMDView2, I think)? It's not bad, but we should use in-game images whenever possible, and only use model viewer images when they show something that the in-game look doesn't. We should try to avoid messing too much with the game's insides and formats unless we really need to. So my question is: Did you upload the Fiery Bulblax model image because it shows something we cannot see in-game? If not, I'll go ahead and delete it. (By the way, you can reply on this page, you don't need to reply on my user page.) — {EspyoT} 04:56, 26 February 2016 (EST)

I posted this image because it seemed better than some screenshots, but it shows nothing more than what we can see in-game. Also, I'm sorry if sometimes my edits are not made in the right sections, I'm new to Wikis but I try to use some guides to edit as correctly as possible. So, to answer : The model doesn't show anything more than what is visible in-game. I just thought the model had a better quality than some screenshots but you can delete it, of course. Marty (talk) 07:31, 26 February 2016 (EST)
Fair enough. Yes, you can see the model better than some images, but... if we could get actual in-game images, all the better. I'll take some today to fix that. And don't worry about your edits, seriously! Wikis are simple, but they have a lot of tiny details that are hard to understand. Don't feel threatened by me coming in and cleaning up your edits on top of you. Your edits are fine, trust me, but I prefer to clean up stuff in order to make sure it adheres to the more specific policies and such. It's better to clean up edits right after they're made than letting them stay forever and only cleaning up eventually. Don't worry about a thing, and keep up the good work you've been putting so far! (PS: when replying to somebody on a talk page, type a colon : before your post so that it becomes indented, and easier to understand. Again, don't worry about the fact that you didn't know this; it's not very important.) — {EspyoT} 09:34, 26 February 2016 (EST)
Thanks. Don't worry, I didn't feel threatened, it's fine to correct as I sometimes don't know where to put information.

Hi! Marty (talk) 12:24, 27 February 2016 (EST)

Where did you find rock/purple and white/winged comparison in high quality???  Super-toad 65  02:07, 19 March 2016 (EDT)

Hi. I took the photos myself by locking-on a gate, holding a Pikmin and whistling. That way, they look at the camera. But you can use my photos, they are for everybody. Marty (talk) 04:02, 19 March 2016 (EDT)

Nice to see you!Edit

Check out my Profile sometime. I have a few tricks that can be preformed, although the list is not complete. We could be friends! No, really. I have Pikmin 2 for the Wii. However, the Wii is not at my home, instead at Nana and Pa's house. Also, I'm surprised your not an admin and you greeted me. By admin I mean administrator. I would like to use some of you photos, too. It's too bad you don't have a Blue Pikmin photo. RoboIan Talk, one day after my user page was made.

Hello. So, concerning my photos, if you are talking about those you can find in my profile, then sure, you can use them. You can also find some screenshots of Blue Pikmin by clicking here. As for the greeting, I don't think you have to be an administrator. See you soon! Marty (talk) 10:43, 6 August 2016 (EDT)

Leader throw preferencesEdit

I saw the section you recently added to your userpage about leader throw preferences, and I found it quite interesting. I did some tests in Beastly Caverns and Clockwork Chasm to see how Olimar and Louie fit in. When playing as Alph/Brittany, you can switch from holding Olimar to Louie, but not from Louie to Olimar. When playing as Olimar, you can switch from holding Louie to Alph/Brittany, but not from Alph/Brittany to Louie. When playing as Louie, you can switch from holding Olimar to Alph/Brittany, but not from Alph/Brittany to Olimar. I honestly don't get why this happens, and it doesn't match up with the leader order oddities. I wonder if it's related to the frozen whistle glitch that I've been researching lately, which requires leaders to be in a specific configuration to occur. — Soprano(talk) 21:40, February 16, 2023 (EST)

Thank you for testing with Louie and Olimar! I forgot they were in the game for a second... It would be great if other leader combinations were available in different missions to determine leader priority, but the only way to get more results would be through hacks. I did not know about the frozen whistle glitch, but I'm interested in researching it as well. --Marty (talk) 14:35, February 17, 2023 (EST)
If you're interested in helping research the frozen whistle glitch, I have a spreadsheet for documenting what happens in all the different cases, because this glitch has so many configurations and weird effects. I've been occasionally posting findings in Pikipedia's Discord channel. — Soprano(talk) 17:01, February 17, 2023 (EST)
I'm interested! I'll take a look at the Pikipedia's Discord channel as well. Marty (talk) 16:13, February 21, 2023 (EST)
