Not collecting all parts is still canon[edit]
(I have no idea how to word this in a wiki way BUT i thought i should mention it.) after beating the mode normally i decided to let olimar die (SAD.) when you reach the final day, you are not allowed to dilly dally. every area without ship parts is OFF LIMITS! the music speeds up for the day, and when its almost time it slows down. he tries to take off anyway and it Literally doesn't work Btw he falls back down. after this the game is like Hey you didnt get all the parts do you want to rewind? (No, i dont.) i was expecting him to say "ohhh i misremembered Sorry lol" but olimar said "And thats what happened." so they're both canon. i've heard that the only way for olimar to remember his piklimar dream (and secret cave) is to get all the parts, though. if someone could add (and fact check) this in that would be awesome Thanks 👍
