::I don't think this really requires a vote unless more people agree with the idea. Anyway, I don't think we really need more Brawl articles. This is first and foremost a Pikmin wiki, and if we expanded into Brawl as part of the Pikmin series, we would need to go into all the worlds and the characters and then from there....well, I think it would just be too messy. It probably wouldn't even go that deep, but I still think it's a bit much. Mariowiki does that, but they're much bigger and can afford to have articles which aren't 100% Mario-related without them displacing the ones which are. {{user:Jimbo Jambo/sig}}

On the Metroid Wiki (which is also not even close to the size of Mario's), we just do articles directly related to the series. So in this way there would be a 'Distant Planet (stage)' article, and so on. The Pikmin wiki could probably go as far as making a page for Olimar as a fighter, though I only opted to list Samus's entire movelist from guides on each the Smash game's articles for each. Anyway, afterward we just lump them all into a "Super Smash Bros." category. Haven't had to go all out on any other character details like the Mario and Zelda wiki have, so it hasn't had the chance to overwhelm anything else. Just a comment; but from the data at Smashboards.com and my own personal experience from playing as Olimar since day 1 of Brawl's release, Pikmin Pluck does NOT vary the color of Pikmin plucked based on terrain, it's all random. Another note is that Olimar's Pikmin Chain is only the 2nd longest Tether Recovery in Brawl, losing out to Zero Suit Samus in that department. If you want, I can get specific battle data for each Pikmin color for each attack, and any properties each specific Pikmin has.

May I revamp this article so it has more of a general feel to it? The way it is, it is basically just a Pikmin-only explanation, with the only exception being the first paragraph. :Adding more info is not recommended, specially for a Smash Bros. article. The Smash Bros. series gather tons of Nintendo franchises. Many of those franchises have a wiki of their own. Normally, they'll all have an article about Super Smash Bros./Super Smash Bros. Melee/Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Now, imagine that instead of having franchise specific info, they had a page full of information. It'll all be the same information spread over tons of wikis. Imagine Mario wiki, Donkey Kong wiki, WarioWare wiki, Zelda wiki, Metroid wiki, Ice Climber wiki, IcarusPedia, Kirby wiki, Pikipedia, Arwingpedia, F-Zero wiki, Bulbapedia, Fire Emblem wiki, EarthBound wiki, Sonic News Network and Metal Gear Wiki (and I'm not even counting franchises that are only present as Assist Trophies and such) all have a '''complete''' article about it. The level of redundancy around the Internet would be BRUTAL. Besides, if the reader needs more info about Brawl, the link to SmashWiki's article is quickly accessed at the bottom of the page. Alot of the other wikis have a little more content than simply stating "This character is in smash and some trophies are here to". Heck, the Kirby wiki wasn't edited for two years until they reveled Kirby Planet Robobot and hasn't updated to show the new Splattoon wiki. Yet, the still detail atleast all the characters in every smash game. This wiki has more content, more pages, more activity, and is probably more well known. Still, we don't even have evidence on most characters in the in these games other than the Pikmin Content in the Smash games. :The logic is that we're a wiki about Pikmin, so we should contain information about all things Pikmin. Having a list of all characters, stages, etc. would just be duplicating effort and for no good reason. We'd have the same information other wikis have, with different words, just retyping what was already said and taking up space and time. Plus if stuff gets updated (Smash 4 patches, for instance), we will also have to keep on our toes to update it too. We already have our canon content to worry about. Think of it this way: if I go to a wiki about a game, and want to read on the swimming mechanic, I don't want to learn about how swimming works in real life. If I do, I go to the Wikipedia article for swimming. When people want to learn about Smash games, Pikipedia is not the place they go to. And if they're already reading on Pikipedia and stumble into a Smash game, they can't reasonably expect us to have a large amount of information on the global content of Smash (again, like my swimming example). The link at the top to SmashWiki is a good way to rectify this too.
