The ship in Pikmin 3, nicknamed Drake (ドレイク), much like the other ships from the Pikmin series, serves as the main storage unit for all the gathered objects found by the captains. Its other purpose is to transport the captains from place to place.
Appearance
This ship is much different from the ships in Pikmin and Pikmin 2 because it looks more futuristic and it has a different style of cockpit that may also be an access hatch. Drake has a base, from which 4 legs protrude, containing green lights and several other designs.
Directly on top the base is a round body, featuring red lights among other unique characteristics. It presumably holds the 3 captains. It also has a long antenna latched onto the top along with a satellite that launches a blue laser beam to collect objects. It appears to have a world map on the back side.
