Unmarked Spectralids are enemies in Pikmin 2. They resemble small butterflies, colored either red, yellow, or purple. They are another helpless enemy, having absolutely no attacking power, but can fly away off the map boundaries to safety. The color of them dictates which type of spray or liquid they drop, being either ultra-spicy spray, ultra-bitter spray, or ordinary nectar. The only above groud ones are in the Awakening Wood, there is margaret that contain four yellow Spectralids, and a Figwort near the constructable bridge that also houses 4 Spectralids. The red and purple ones (along with other yellow Spectralids) are only found in the 'rest areas' of the sublevels of some caves. Usually underground, they are found in flocks of 20 or more.
