Blue Pikmin are the third/last color of Pikmin that you get in both games. You found it in the Forest Navel in Pikmin, and in the Awakening Wood after you get yellows in Pikmin 2. These Pikmin have gills (not mouths) that allow them to adapt to aquatic environments. This simply lets you move them in the water, as well as fighting, carrying, and other things in the water. Also if this Pikmin is idle, and nearby there is a drowning Pikmin, it will quickly react and pick up the Pikmin and throw it out of the water. It throws it farther than your pilot can! You may have a lot of these due to their ability to move almost anywhere allowing you to pick up and propagate creatures without the need to alternate Pikmin colors.
