Dwarf Bulborb

Dwarf Bulborbs are small enemies in the Pikmin games. These enemies perfectly resemble Red Bulborbs in appearance, but are much smaller. These enemies are easily defeatable by swarming them, but throwing a Pikmin directly on top of it will kill it. In Pikmin, these were thought to be juvinile Red Bulborbs, but in Pikmin 2, they were revealed to be in the Breadbug family, not the Grub-dog family. This leaves somewhat of a plot hole, because in the first game, bothering one will make it cry, which will wake up the nearest Red Bulborb. This doesn't happen in the second game.
