New Play Control! Pikmin 2

New Play Control! Pikmin 2 is part of the New Play Control! series, a port of Pikmin 2 to the Nintendo Wii. It has been released in Japan, Europe, and Australia; 2010 is the given date for American release, although it may be released soon to promote Pikmin 3 . Like the first game's Wii version, the box art for every region is the same as for the GameCube release, within a New Play Control border.

New features

The most notable feature, as with Pikmin, is the different control scheme, which allows pointing at the screen to aim the cursor. This version also has widescreen support and the graphics are slightly enhanced over the GameCube title. There is no gameplay differences, it is just an enhanced version of Pikmin 2.
