  • I feel like that people aren't going to remember how many days they completed Pikmin in their first run... Maybe a better poll would be asking about the fewest days that they completed Pikmin in? IMO, a low-day run makes more of an impact than their first run. ~PikFan23 20:07, 18 July 2015 (EDT)
    • I don't know... Casual players (I assume the vast majority) won't really care for low-day runs. I've played through Pikmin several times, but I still remember my first time: 23 days. I'd say the first time really sticks with you, but I'm all ears for different opinions. — {EspyoT} 08:12, 19 July 2015 (EDT)
      • Hmm... Yeah, most probably won't be going for a low-day run. Looking at the stats for Pikmin 3, not a whole lot of people got all fruit, and even then, those who did took like 40-50 days.   • While the question itself is good, it needs more options. Also, just my two cents, a city and roman ruins are rather poor examples just due to how large they are and how small of a scale the Pikmin games are on. It would be more appropriate to focus in on smaller parts of those two, and doing so would also provide more choices for the queation. -Scittery Leaves 23

What do you do when Pikmin die?

  • Nothing; I ordered the Pikmin there and it didn't fulfill its job at killing the enemy I wanted. I just make new Pikmin.
  • I ignore it, regardless of how many died. Making new Pikmin is easy.
  • Depends on the status of the Pikmin. I don't care about leaf Pikmin, have considerable concerns for bud Pikmin, and cannot stand losing a flower Pikmin.
  • If a lot of Pikmin die, restart the day and play better. Otherwise, keep on trucking.
  • I don't really fell upset if a Pikmin dies, but I do reset anyway.
  • I absolutely cannot allow any Pikmin dying and I get really upset when it happens. I immediately hammer on the reset button when a Pikmin dies.
