- January 24th: PikCast Episode 8 is out!
- January 5th: Shigeru Miyamoto confirms the development of further Pikmin games in an interview with Smosh Games.
- January 5th: PikCast Episode 7 is out!

- October 25th: The Pikmin short movies were displayed at the Tokyo Film Festival. New details emerged about it. Other things were announced as well, such as a Pikmin 3 demo being planned.
- October 23rd: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U footage reveals a Peckish Aristocrab for the Garden of Hope stage, as well as Yellow Wollywog and Plasm Wraith trophies.
- October 14th: PikCast Episode 2.5 is out!
- October 3rd: Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is released in America and Europe!

- September 28th: The background was changed from the old Pikipedia classic to the Pikmin Wiki one.
