The Caustic Dweevil is a dweevil, an enemy found in Pikmin 2. As is typical of Dweevils, it picks up any treasure or enemy body it can find, only releasing it when Pikmin attack. The measure of offense it has is shooting water on its enemies, which drowns all Pikmin types except blues, making them the best choice in battle against it. Although it can harm non-Blue Pikmin, it is weak enough that it often dies before getting a chance to attack, and its attack does not kill Pikmin instantly, allowing them to be whistled to safety by a captain if they do come into contact with it.
