The Tropical Wilds is an area in Pikmin 3. When the ship crashed at the beginning of the game, Alph was thrown overboard here, along with the S.S. Drake. He found his KopPad. Red Pikmin are discovered here, but that is the only type of Pikmin encountered in this area. More fruit are found here than any other region in the game, along with two mini-bosses, the Shaggy Long Legs and the Calcified Crushblat, and the main boss, the Sandbelching Meerslug.
