The '''Bowsprit''' is a rocket part ingested by the [[Armored Cannon Beetle]] in [[The Distant Spring]] . The Bowsprit is the "face" of the Dolphin designed by [[Captain Olimar]] and gives the Dolphin its sleek shape.

Dolphin]], designed by [[Captain Olimar]], and gives the Dolphin its sleek shape. In ''Pikmin'', it can be found inside the [[Armored Cannon Beetle]] in the central tree stump of [[The Distant Spring]].

Getting it requires many steps. First, defeat all [[Bulbear]]s and [[Puffy Blowhog]]s that will be in the way back to the ship. There are two paths to get to it: either cross the fire [[geyser]]s near the [[Armored Cannon Beetle]] or take the safe route near the landing site by building the [[twig]] and unplugging the geyser. Then defeat the Beetle and retrieve the part. Build the [[bridge]] and destroy the [[gate]] so Pikmin can carry it back to the Dolphin, defeating the [[Shearwig]]s along the way. Assuming they take the eastern path back to the Dolphin, [[Blue Pikmin]] will carry the part through a shortcut in the water, thus avoiding the three sleeping Bulbears on the way.

The Bowsprit is located directly east from the Water's Edge landing site in the [[Serene Shores]], near the edge of the map. You will need [[Moss]]' swimming ability to reach the part and then 30 [[Blue Pikmin]] to carry it. Make sure to defeat the enemies and clear the obstacles that are in the way so the Pikmin can carry it safely back to base.

*The Bowsprit is one of the few parts of the ship that appears to be physically broken, as the antenna is always bent and the part itself does not sit properly on the ship.
