Purple Pikmin: Difference between revisions

Similar to White Pikmin, Purple Pikmin can only be obtained by throwing other types of Pikmin into a Candypop Bud; in the Purple Pikmin's case, the player must throw non-purple Pikmin into a Violet Candypop Bud. Two Candypop Buds are found in the Emergence Cave, but they disappear after a certain amount of times used. Purples are vital for carrying heavy loads so collect plenty of them. A good strategy is to enter the Subterranean Complex with one Pikmin. On the eighth sublevel, throw the Pikmin into the[[ Queen Candypop Bud]]s, then throw them into the [[Violet Candypop Bud]]s. If done correctly, you should have 15 Purple Pikmin. This is handy for obtaining the 100 Purple Pikmin required to collect the [[Doomsday Apparatus]] in the [[Wistful Wild]] .
