Another difference from their Pikmin 2 appearance is that the Anode Beetles can be defeated without flipping them over in Pikmin 4. During their attacking animation their outer shell opens up, and they are vulnerable to damage during that brief period. This means that if you throw yellow pikmin at an Anode Beetle, they will eventually defeat it on their own regardless of aim or numbers. | |||
