The Brute Knuckles is one of the [[Treasure Hoard|treasures]] found in ''[[Pikmin 2]]''. It is a toy [[Wikipedia:Glove|punching glove]] that is found inside one of the four [[Mamuta]]s in the fifth [[sublevel]] of the [[Frontier Cavern]].

Before collecting it, defeat all the Mamutas in the area so they won't harm Olimar as the [[Pikmin (species)|Pikmin]] carry the treasure back to the [[Research Pod|Pod]]. Make sure the [[Caustic Dweevil]]s are gone so they won't carry the treasure on their backs. After the [[Research Pod]] cashes in the Brute Knuckles, Olimar will gain the Rocket Fist.

==Rocket Fist==

This third punch has the strength of roughly three normal punches, and can dispatch a smaller enemy, such as [[Dwarf Red Bulborb]]s, with minimal effort. It is capable of reaching [[:category:Airborne enemies|flying enemies]] and other obstacles high in the air, such as [[Puffy Blowhog]]s, if positioned directly under them.

*Collecting this power-up will not affect the inactive Captain, who will still use the standard punch move. Using the Captain's attacks together boosts the total damage by a small amount, and is suggested to be used often, though with careful watch for counter attacks so the inactive Captain can move in advance.

*In its [[Sales Pitch]], [[The Ship]] reveals that Olimar suffers from shoulder pain.

*While stationary, this combo will move at normal speed, but while ''moving'' and pressing the "A" button rapidly, it is almost twice as fast. This is very helpful because it makes it possible to dodge and deal full damage at the same time with enough practice.
