**Although, in [[Side Stories]], it seems most onions are separated, like in {{p1}} and {{p2}}, or outright missing. Because of the [[Canon# Objective canon|debatable canon]] of this mode, it's likely this separation is due to gameplay purposes rather than showing a devolution of the onions.
