To defeat this enemy, you must wait until it latches onto a [[Treasure Hoard|treasure]] or defeated creature, such as the nearby Anode Beetles, or Breadbugs. Then, toss onto or swarm the treasure with as many [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] as possible (preferably twice as much as the minimum weight; this is of course made easier if [[Purple Pikmin]] are used) and watch them drag the helpless Giant Breadbug toward the [[Research Pod]]. However, an easier way exists, as when the Giant Breadbug is dragged, use [[Ultra-Bitter Spray]] on the center of it, then swarm it. Like with normal Breadbugs, should there not be enough Pikmin on the treasure, they will be pulled into the Giant Breadbug's den and killed. | |||
