They are being released in sets of series, along with other Nintendo characters. The plushes are approximately {{tt|7.5 inches|19.05 cm}} tall. They are in a similar style to the Pikmin plushes released in 2001 and 2004, but are of a different fabric, and are a few inches taller.

The Pikmin plushes are made of a silky fabric, while the Bulborb is more felt-like, with actual hard buttons for the white spots on a Bulborb's back.
