Interestingly, due to the Seafoam Mushroom’s water theme, all Blue Pikmin have an increased base damage, matching Purple Pikmin’s base damage. Festival Mushrooms were introduced on September 20th, 2025. Festival Mushrooms are a unique type of Event Mushroom, as they only appear for ticket holders during Pikmin Bloom Journeys. Their design features a top with a sparkly pink to orange gradient with a flower icon instead of spots, and a white stem. This type of Event Mushroom appeared during the following events:
Pikmin Bloom Journey 2025: Sendai[edit]
- Festival Mushrooms appeared from September 20th to September 21st, 2025, during the Pikmin Bloom Journey 2025: Sendai Event.
- They came only in the "Giant" size.
- Giant Festival Mushrooms had 33,120,000 health.
- Destroying a Festival Mushroom rewarded a Mystery Box for the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Event.
- All Pikmin that were sent to a mushroom battle against a Festival Mushroom had 1 attack damage, with no way to increase it. Even if the Pikmin had a seasonal flower on their stem, or were a Decor Pikmin, they had 1 attack damage.
- There was no participant limit. An unlimited number of players could join the mushroom battle.
- The Mushroom Battle Bullhorn could not be used on battles against Festival Mushrooms.
- Giant Mushrooms appeared at points of interest around where the event was being held.

- All Pikmin that were sent to a mushroom battle against a Festival Mushroom had 1 attack damage, with no way to increase it. Even if the Pikmin had a seasonal flower on their stem, or were a Decor Pikmin, they had 1 attack damage.

- Instead of regularly appearing on the map like other mushrooms, Festival Mushrooms appeared at 31 specific landmarks and cities around the world and could be joined through the expedition list, regardless of the players real world location. All 31 locations of Festival Mushrooms did not appear at once – the mushrooms appeared in groups of 6 to 7 locations at a time, and rotated at specific times throughout the event.
