It's is found in the [[Tropical Wilds]] near the pale green bridge on a ledge that you need 2 captains for. This powerup along with the [[Dodge Whistle]] aren't left behind by [[Captain Olimar]], making them the only powerups that we have no idea how they got there. Olimar doesn't leave a note like with the other 2 suits. It has the same function in [[pikmin 2]], to reduce damage. All 3 space suits are said to be sold on [[Koppai]]. In [[Mission Mode]] you lose all the suits but this is the worst one. Try facing the [[Plasm Wraith|final boss]] without the Metal Suit Z. He can and will kill you very quick if you're not careful.
