It has a long, narrow, slender snout which resembles that of an anteater, and has a white back with dark brown spots. This Bulborb attacks with a long, flexible tongue which allows it to quickly devour Pikmin from much greater ranges than other members of the Grub Dog family. Also, this Bulborb does not appear to sleep when it is unaware of the presence of Pikmin. Instead, it seems to wander, or rummage, through the grass in the surrounding area, and then quickly shuffle toward the captain which they enter its immediate range..
