At this point, the name "bramble gate" has become established as ''the'' name for this type of gate in the ''Pikmin'' community, despite the fact that it doesn't accurately describe the obstacle. If we renamed it to something else on the wiki, it would probably confuse people, since people know this obstacle as the bramble gate.
