''Captain Olimar'' is the main character of the Pikmin series. He works for the [[Hocotat Freight Company]]. He found the planet of the Pikmin when his ship, the [[S.S. Dolphin]] was hit by a metour and then his ship crashed onto an area he called [[The Impact Site]]. After spending thirty days on the planet, he blasted off to his home planet [[Hocotate]]. When he arrived, he discovered that the Hocotate Freight Company was in debt. He dropped a bottle cap he was holding, which was for his children as a souviner. A [[Research Pod]] on a rocket absorbed the bottle cap and said it was worth 100 pokos. His boss commanded him and [[Louie]] to go to the planet and get more treasure. After he paid the debt and retrieved [[Louie]] from the planet, his fate was unknown after.
