GP, do you think it's possible if you can lock this wiki from further editing by anons? For the past week, we've got nothing but spam and it's really annoying for everyone. They also create pages with sexual content in other languages and it takes a while for those to be deleted since there is usually no one on. It's also not a hassle to create an account. If they want to edit here so badly, they can. --

:Well, I don't know about Greenpickle, but I check the Recent Changes every day, and anon edits catch my eye. Even if it's on pages that are rarely used, they're caught pretty quickly. As for blocking anon edits, remember that that also means that some typos or small stuff may be left unaltered. For instance, if I'm browsing a wiki and notice a typo, I'll edit the page and the change it. If, however, anon edits are disabled, I will not create an account just for a typo. The current spam edits aren't too bothersome, so I vote for leaving anon edits on, for now. If things get out of hand, I guess we could block them. :::I'm with Espyo.  Wikis are about openness: look at the amount of anon. vandalism Wikipedia gets.  And I'm not sure where you're getting the data to back up your claim from: [ anon. edits in last 7 days] (I tried to get the edits starting from when you asked, but apparently MW has a bug or something.  I see 4 bad edits (2 unintentional) and 4 good edits, not counting Snakeboss's when logged out.
:::I'll remind you that JJ, who's done a lot of work here, made a lot of edits anonymously before we convinced him to sign up - would he have, if the wiki were closed to it? <span style="font-family:times;"><span style="color:#080;">G</span><span style="color:#050;">P</span></span>
