To make this glitch happen, the player must poison Pikmin near a hole. When the Pikmin make the groan noise (indicating that they are about to die), the player should enter the hole. In the jumping down the hole cut scene, the Pikmin that groaned will have poison on there leafs, buds or flowers as they jump down the hole. On the next sublevel, however, they will act normal. At the end of the cave, them Pikmin will count towards the death count, despite the fact you will be able to control them forever(until they die normally).
