Withering Blowhog: Difference between revisions

This [[Blowhog family|blowhog]]'s main ability is to whiter away Pikmin's flowers and buds, hence the name. In Japan, its name is {{j|アオケダタラ|Aokedatara}}. Its scientific name, ''Sus decrepitia'', uses the main genus name on the blowhog family, and ''decrepitia'' is very similar to the Latin word ''decrepita'', meaning "feeble". This is because of its ability to weaken the Pikmin's strengths. Internally, it is known as <code>hanachirashi</code>, where <code>hana</code> is {{j|はな|hana|flower|f=tp}}, and <code>chirashi</code> means {{j|ちらし|chirashi}}, with one of the possible translations being "scattering". This name could have been decided due to the fact that when a Pikmin's flower is blown off, its petals scatter everywhere.
