When viewing Pikmin, the icon is gray if the player does not have the corresponding Decor Pikmin of that color, while the icon will be yellow if they have already collected that Decor Pikmin. Note that this also applies to [[#Rare variants|rare variants]] or time-limited Decor Pikmin. In an example of the latter, if a player has all Red Pikmin from the Sticker and Coin categories but does ''not'' have the Winter Sticker variant, '''all''' Roadside decor icons for Red Pikmin will appear as gray.
