Hey.

I am sorry. I did not know. I am fairly new and should have paid more attention to the topic. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 45.27.89.141 • (talk) • (contribs)

  • np, just correcting a mistake. dont let that discourage you from doing more edits. -Bossclips

Campground Area

That was not leaked, it was confirmed it the new trailer AND the Japanese shorts, there is an entire short on nintendo japan dedicated to that area, its NOT leaked, so it should be allowed. - PikminLover4587

Campground area is fine, talking about the beach area. Unless you can cite a source, the name "Serene Shores" has not be publicly revealed at all. - Bossclips

Bulbear mistake

"It is a mistake if they are supposed to be younger versions of the adults ones, which would make them the same species." My point is that the scientific names don't contradict the fact they are the same species. If Oculus terribilis dotticum is a subspecies of Oculus terribilis, then we can assume the Bulbear, Dwarf or otherwise, is both. It's like "Homo sapiens" and "Homo sapiens sapiens". The inconsistency is probably unintentional, but it's not wrong. 2 B (talk) 14:09, July 11, 2023 (EDT)

A subspecies is essentially a different species. If the younger versions of a species are a different species, that implies the adult of that species gives birth to something other than it's own species, which is (naturally) impossible. - Bossclips

That's not what a subspecies is. You know how different species can belong to the same genus, and specimens of those species also belong to the genus? Basically that. The subspecies is to the species as the species is to the genus, as far as I understand how this works. 2 B (talk) 14:57, July 11, 2023 (EDT)

Yes, correct. If the parent had a different genus to the offspring, that wouldnt make sense. If the parent had a different species to the offspring, that wouldnt make sense. If the parent had a different subspecies to the offspring, that wouldnt make sense. - Bossclips
